Good afternoon CSUS families and caregivers,
Our last full (and warm) week of school is upon us! Last week’s Cobra Capstones were, as always, an impressive and emotional way to conclude our 8th graders' time at CSUS. So many of our visitors were deeply moved by scholars' academic and social emotional growth and reflection. I am always re-reminded of the tremendous privilege it is to witness these formative years of scholars' lives, and am looking forward to the 6th Grade Breakfast and 7th Grade Portfolio Night today.
Please note that due to 8th grade graduation, CSUS ONLY will have an early dismissal at 12PM this Thursday, June 20. Scholars will have access to their normal buses.
Please see below for additional important updates, reminders, and dates.
Library Books are Due
Email notices for overdue or lost books will be sent to caregivers on Wednesday - please check ParentSquare. We appreciate any help you can provide to help your scholars locate (and remember to bring to school) any of these books!
Stock up on summer activities by purchasing gift cards, tickets, and passes to help the CSUS PCO raise more money!
The following gift cards and ticket vouchers were donated by local businesses and organizations, so every dollar goes directly to the CSUS Parent Caregiver Organization’s annual budget to support our scholars, teachers, and families. Email [email protected] and let us know what you’d like to buy.
And congratulations to the 6th Grade for winning the Year-End Challenge and earning 10 minutes extra recess and a special treat! We're halfway to our fundraising goal, so please consider making a stretch gift by June 30th here.
Thank you for your generous support,
