On Wednesday, February 6, sixth grade students from Cambridge Street and Rindge Avenue upper schools traveled to Cambridge Public Library to hear an engaging and entertaining presentation by author/illustrator Jerry Craft. The visit coincided with the release of Jerry's new graphic novel,
New Kid. As a special treat, all students in attendance went home with a free, signed copy of Jerry's new book courtesy of the
Porter Square Books Foundation.
Thank you to Jerry Craft, to Porter Square Books for organizing and inviting our CPS students to the Jerry Craft visit, to the Porter Square Books Foundation for providing the free books to our students, and to Cambridge Public Library for hosting the event!
