Each year the Cambridge Public Library, in partnership with the Cambridge Tree Project, invites students from Kindergarten through Grade 8 who live or attend school in Cambridge to submit poems for their annual competition.  This year, scholars participated from every school in the city, submitting almost 1,100 entries. Two CSUS scholars, Jonas Hansen and Aaditya Yadav, were recognized at the awards ceremony and reading held at the library on May 21.

Jonas won 1st place for Eighth Grade for his poem, “The Past Future.” Aaditya received an Honorable Mention for Seventh Grade for her poem, “My Mom and Dad.” Congratulations to Jonas and Aaditya!
