Listening Conferences
Please see this informational letter that was shared with caregivers earlier this week, and reach out to Ms. Sohn at [email protected] if you have more questions.

Locker clean out/pickup
We sent an email and robo call earlier this week asking caregivers let us know if their child has items in their locker.

Pickup dates are as follows:

  • Grade 8: June 15
  • Grade 7: June 16
  • Grade 6: June 17

Pick-up times will be assigned to families by scholar last name and will be shared with families along with safety protocols for pick up next week. Graduation caps and t-shirts for 8th graders, and 6th and 7th grade summer reading and math materials will also be available to scholars and families at this time.

Computers and Technology
Scholars returning to Cambridge Public Schools next year should keep their chromebooks through the summer! These can and should be used for all summer opportunities. They should bring them to school when we return to our buildings.

For families who are leaving Cambridge Public Schools and need to return their Chromebook and/or CPS library books, the CPS Helpdesk is open Mondays and Thursdays from 11AM - 2PM at CRLS in the Carpentry Garage near the corner of Cambridge Street and Felton Street. The Helpdesk is ready to receive these items from JK-8 families!

In addition, families who are staying in Cambridge Public Schools but no longer need their Chromebook and/or library books may also return them to the CPS Helpdesk.

Summer Reading and Math Materials
CSUS is providing summer reading books and math materials for all rising 7th and 8th grade scholars (this year’s 6th and 7th graders).

Pickup dates are as follows:

  • Grade 7 (rising 8th graders): June 16
  • Grade 6 (rising 7th graders): June 17

Pick-up times will be assigned to families by scholar last name and will be shared with families along with safety protocols for pick up next week. We are hopeful that math materials arrive in time, given the current public health crisis and resulting delay in shipping times; if materials do not arrive by the end of the school year we will have them available to families over the summer.
