Good afternoon CSUS families and caregivers,

I hope all enjoyed a wonderful and reflective long weekend. We are looking forward to an exciting week, including Civics MCAS testing, celebrating our scholars’ talents and hard work at The Cambridge Public Library’s 25th Annual Poetry Awards ceremony on Wednesday, The Spring Choral Concert and Art Show on Thursday, AND at the Civics Showcase on Friday. We hope to see you out and about supporting our scholars!

As the school year begins to wind down, please note that this week is the last week for our late bus; there will not be after school transportation for scholars available after this week.

Volunteers/Food Donations Needed for End of Year Concerts
The CSUS PCO looking for volunteers to donate baked goods/snacks and provide helping hands for our end of year concerts on May 30 (Art/Choral) and June 3 (Band/Orchestra) -- sign up here.

Our School Hours Are Changing! Please note that beginning September 2024 Cambridge Street Upper School’s learning hours will be as follows

Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday | 8:45AM - 3:15PM
Wednesdays | 8:45AM - 2:45PM

CSUS Homework Expectations and Weekly HW Calendars
In an effort to keep scholars, caregivers, and out of school time providers informed regarding weekly assignments, our teaching teams are sharing weekly homework calendars. These will be posted on our website for reference and easy access.

June 3*: CSUS Spring Band and Orchestra Concert 5-7PM. Please note this date has been changed to avoid conflict with other exciting arts events in the city!
June 4: Track and Field Championships 3:20PM at Danehy Park
June 7: Soccer Championships at 3:15PM at Danehy Park
June 10-13: 8th Grade Cobra Capstones
June 11: Orienteering Championships at 4PM at Danehy Park
June 11: Rising 6th Grade information night 6-7PM; this is for incoming 6th grade scholars and their families. Please encourage any families that you know who are joining CSUS next year to attend!
June 14: 8th Grade Trip to Boston
June 18: 8th Grade Trip to Six Flags
June 18: 7th Grade Portfolio Night 6-7PM
June 20: CSUS 8th grade graduation 1PM at 840 Cambridge Street
