It is a busy week! Please see the updates below regarding Thursday’s PCO meeting, Picture Day next Monday, weekly homework, our scholar artist of the week and other important information and upcoming dates.
Join the Parent Caregiver Organization (CSUS PCO) meeting Thursday, October 19th 7PM
All parents and caregivers are warmly invited to the CSUS PCO meeting from 7-8:30PM on Thursday, October 19th.
Our focus is not just fundraising, but supporting the school any way we can.
This meeting will focus on fall fundraising activities, Thanksgiving baskets for families in need, and possible upcoming teacher appreciation initiatives –
we are actively seeking the involvement of caregivers of 7th graders (we need 7th grade families involved this year so they are ready to help out next year with the 8th grade trip). If you are able to volunteer a few hours of your time to help us, please join us for the meeting or send us an email at

Picture Day is Monday October 23
We’ve included
this year’s school's picture day flyer in ParentSquare; this document provides instructions on how caregivers can go online and preorder picture packages. This document includes our school's unique order code that families will need to pre-order online. This code expires at midnight on picture day, and this is clearly noted as such on the notice. Families that missed preordering will have another ordering opportunity when they receive their child's proof photo (approx. 4-5 weeks after picture day).
We are encouraging online orders; caregivers can Order online via
this link; you must create an account and then use CSUS code BGRV6ZFN. If you do use a paper order, please include a check or money order made out to
Geskus Studios. Exact cash payment will also be accepted.
CSUS Homework Expectations and Weekly HW Calendars
In an effort to keep scholars, caregivers, and out of school time providers informed regarding weekly assignments, our teaching teams are sharing weekly homework calendars. These will be posted on our website for reference and easy access.

Reminder from our School Nurse
A reminder that all CPS scholars require an up to date physical on file with the school nurse. A Tdap and Meningococcal vaccine are also due for all 7th graders. If your 7th grader received a Non-Compliant immunizations letter, please review and reach out to your Pediatrician to update your scholar’s record or to schedule an appointment for Vaccines/Physical if needed.
