On
Saturday, January 11th the CSUS debate team participated in their very
first tournament sponsored by the Greater Boston Debate League. The team
won the runner-up trophy for their performance. On March 1st, the team
continued the CSUS record of achievement by winning.
- 1st place: Middle School
- 2nd place overall team: Summia Mahmud and Yasmin Abdella
- 3rd place best speaker: Summia Mahmud.
The winning team for the school included Yasmin Abdella, Julietta
Gonzalez Cruz, Razin Khan, Nathan Kolodney, Summia Mahmud, Kamrul
Ruhit, Omar Silas, and, Cameron Tracy. Congratulations and many thanks
