Good Afternoon CSUS Families and Caregivers,
I hope folks experienced a reflective long weekend; whether folks came together for Yom Kippur or to learn and reflect for Indigenous Peoples Day, I hope scholars and families were able to take time to be in community together.
A reminder to all that Listening Conferences are underway. If you have not heard from your child’s advisor inviting you to sign up, please connect with our Family Liaison Ms Gabbidon at [email protected].
Listening Conferences are an opportunity to connect and for our teaching team to learn more about your scholar, their goals, and how we can best support your scholar and your family this year.
Please see below for important news and updates regarding Weekly Homework, School Council Elections, Electronic Scooters and Bikes, and Family Book.
CSUS Homework Expectations and Weekly HW Calendars

School Council Election results are in!
THANK YOU to Jessica Brewer, Catherine Rich, and Allison Bagg
who will serve as our Caregiver representatives this year. Our representatives will convene to launch the year and will share future meeting dates with our community.
Family Book
FamilyBook is a secure, online family directory available at every one of our schools. It provides contact information for the purpose of sharing information
and building community. FamilyBook is a great opportunity for families to share contact information, especially as your child’s social circle widens in middle school. Sign Up for the FamilyBook Here!

THE PCO NEEDS YOU!
Exciting things are coming up over the next few months: the Annual Appeal, Thanksgiving Baskets, and more! But first, we need your help with
a bake sale on Election Day (Nov. 5th). We’re looking for volunteers to:
Does this sound like you? Reach out to Shalini Ayre ([email protected]) to get involved.
Remember, school will be closed on Election Day. All funds raised support field trips, arts, theater, sports programs, and families in need. Your commitment to our school community is invaluable.
Let’s continue supporting each other and creating memorable experiences for our CSUS community.
Thank you from the CSUS PCO Board!
Quick reminder: Scooters and bikes
A reminder that scholars traveling via bike and scooter must bring equipment to lock up their wheels; bikes and scooters should not
be brought inside the school building. We strongly encourage scholars not to use electric scooters as there is nowhere to charge or store them safely. Electronic scooters cannot be stored inside the school building.
