Good Afternoon CSUS Families and Caregivers,

This week was a short but busy one at CSUS; we hope all enjoy the long weekend with loved ones and friends. Shout out to our incredible Parent Caregiver Organization (PCO) for their work supporting 45 families in our community this holiday!

I also want to acknowledge the ways folks are working to center the Indigenous narrative in our curriculum and community always, and in particular this month and as we head into Thanksgiving week. I encourage everyone to check out our Native American Heritage Month Bitmoji Library, our CSUS Land Acknowledgement (below) and this upcoming event in Cambridge if you are looking to learn about, reflect upon, and honor the history of native peoples.

Please see below for important information about staffing updates, Homework Expectations,  our recent School Council meeting, and All City Music.

CSUS School Council update
Our CSUS School Council held its first meeting last Thursday, Nov 21. We reviewed the the School Improvement Plan (SIP), looked at some school data, and discussed our school’s plans for supporting instructional improvement over the coming year. Thank you to those who joined us.

The School Council’s next meeting will be Thursday, December 19.
