Good Afternoon CSUS Families and Caregivers,

We hope you are having a good week! A reminder that our MCAS exams begin tomorrow, Wednesday, April 9 for scholars in all grades; please ensure your child brings their charged chromebook to school tomorrow and remember that tomorrow, like every day, phones and tech will be collected at the start of each day. If scholars are not comfortable turning in devices they may be left at home.

Please support your child at home with the same message that we are giving at school: this test will measure skills that are important in your continuing academic development and will celebrate the growth you made this year. Your classwork has prepared you for success, and we believe in you!

Please see below for information about upcoming MCAS exams, weekly homework, Scholar Artist of the Week, and important dates at CSUS.

How You Can Help:

  • Contribute funds to our Gift Card Drive and the PCO will purchase grocery gift cards to be distributed directly to families by the CSUS staff.
  • Kindly consider donating $25 or $50 gift cards from one of the following stores*:
    • Market Basket
    • Target
    • Star Market

*we welcome gift cards from other stores, but the ones mentioned here are of particular use to our families.

Please drop off your kind donation at the CSUS main office labeled “PCO Gift Card Drive.”

Thank You For Your Generosity!
Your continued help and support of these drives ensures that we can provide food security to more families over school vacations throughout the year.
