Hello CSUS Families,
We are happy to report that we had a smooth transition back to school. Our first four days consisted of many community building activities, virtual and in person assemblies, assisting scholars with their new combination locks and school tours. We’ve shared a lot of information with scholars about our routines, Covid protocols and expectations.
At CSUS our goal is to engage families as partners, as you are the experts when it comes to your child(ren). Our listening conferences this year will take place between September 27th and October 8th. During this time we’d like for you to share information with us about your child, their likes and dislikes, learning style and any other information that can contribute to their academic success. Please be on the lookout for more details from your scholars advisory teacher
We are currently looking for one caregiver to join our Covid Task Force. This team consistently reviews and enforces protocols in compliance with the district and state. You must have availability to attend a virtual meeting during the school day. If you are interested, please email Ms. Robinson.
Please be advised that in observance of Yom Kippur, there will be no school this Thursday, September 16th. Our first Early Release day is Wednesday September 22nd.
Our Back to School Night is scheduled for October 7th from 6:30-8PM. We will share details in a future Tuesday Take Home. Please save the date!
It has come to our attention that many scholars are arriving without water bottles. Due to current COVID-19 protocols scholars are asked to bring a water bottle to access our water fountains. If you require assistance obtaining a water bottle for your child please reach out to Mr.Adams.
Lastly, by the end of next week you should have received communication from your child(ren)’s teachers. If not, please contact Ms. Robinson. For your convenience we’ve included information about supply lists. If you are unable to purchase these supplies, please contact our Family Liaison, Mr. Adams. If you have any questions, please contact our School Clerk, Ms. Howard.
