CSUS Scholars Participate in the Annual American Mathematics Competition
Posted on 01/05/2016
On November 17, 2015, CSUS scholars participated in the 31st annual MAA American Mathematics Competition 8. They competed for local and national student and school awards. The contest covers middle school mathematics, and its purpose is to spur interest and develop excitement for mathematics. Last year the AMC8 contest involved over 150,000 students worldwide. The problems on the contest are difficult, and scholars should be proud of their attempt even if they could only solve one or two of the problems. We hope that your scholars enjoyed the contest and that it will encourage them to learn more mathematics. We are proud to announce the winners. Download the list >>
