Back to Back to Back Championships for the CSUS girls. After winning the Cross Country race, as well as the Volleyball Championship, our scholar athletes once again reminded the rest of the city who was boss. The title is the third in a row, keeping the girls basketball program undefeated since the creation of middle schools in Cambridge. Lily T. led all scorers with 10 points and Jahmaya A. chipped in 6 points and 6 blocks. The Lady Cobras defeated Rindge Ave 23-14.
The boys also made it to the city finals. They played inspired basketball, but came up a bit short in the end, losing to Rindge Ave 45-36. Quintin M. led the team with 16 points.
As usual, our scholar-athletes carried themselves with nothing but class both in victory and in defeat. The coaches and the entire CSUS community could not be more proud!
